Our Community Fund is made up of GMCR profits, along with donations from our members.

We welcome applications from schools, charities and other community groups in Greater Manchester for projects relating to carbon reduction, energy efficiency and environmental education.

You can apply for grants of up to £5,000 using this application form. 

Case Studies 

In 2021 Broadoak Primary School applied for £1,000 to spend on mobile devices for children to use to record their forest school activities. 

Fiddlers Lane Primary School have used the Community Fund for recycling facilities, camera bird boxes, a solar powered stop watch and LED lighting.
